A high-end Denon in need of help
I was sent this vintage Denon DCD-1800R CD player by a channel viewer who asked if I could try to repair it for him. The tray wasn’t working all the time and when it did, it was hit and miss with reading discs. I had a number of problems while servicing it - which was difficult in itself due to a densely packed interior that made it the heaviest player I’ve ever featured - but would it end up being the reliable high-end machine the owner wanted?
