Sprawa Diany

The "Diana" glider, on which Sebastian Kawa and Janusz Centka won the world championships, is still manufactured in Poland. In Ustroń, at the Olimpic hotel, the daughters of Bogumił Bereś, the designer of the famous "Diana" glider, handed over the rights to the glider design to the Avionic company from Górki Wielkie in Cieszyn Silesia. The contract was signed on October 29, 2016. Two foreign companies also applied for the rights to build Diana. However, the owners of the rights to the glider decided otherwise and the glider stayed in Poland. The conversation with the former president of Sol-Aero was recorded in 2011 by Paweł Fidala. Paweł has been involved in film production for 30 years. He cooperated with, among others: with Radio Flash, Telewizja Katowice, TVN, Polsat, Discovery, National Geographic and BBC. He worked professionally in sound and was also a pilot, flying gliders and helicopters. Thanks to his passion, he made aerial photos and films on this topic.
