Szybownictwo sport (nie)ekstremalny | Sebastian Kawa | TEDxAGHUniversity
Samoloty bez silników. Opowieść o pasji do eksploracji lądu z powietrza. Airplanes without engines. A tale of passion for land exploration from the air. He specializes in gliding cruising. For many years he has been leading the FAI ranking list. He has already brought 27 medals from the most important glider competitions. In 2013, as the first man in the world, he rose above the Himalayan Annapurna massif using only the phenomena and energy of the atmosphere. Reaching 9600m in the Himalayas, he proved that it is possible to get Mount Everest with a glider. Sebastian Kawa's dream is to fly over Antarctica. You can think that in gliding he has already won everything. Meanwhile, he admits that besides the extreme expeditions of his forces he would like to try the open class, where the only limitation is the mass limit of the glider. He is also involved in the promotion and development of Polish glider constructions starting on the new gliders in the World Cup and winning them. He specializes in gliding cruising.
