We spent three memorable days there, torn between the power of the waves along the coast and the crystal-clear waters of the Coiba archipelago. A highly photogenic stop, perfect for taking out the cameras and capturing the magic of the marine world. 📍 Our itinerary: Day 1: Wild Exploration on Foot For our first day, we laced up our hiking boots to explore the beaches around Santa Catalina. Between the black rocky points, the legendary waves of the point, and the vast stretches of sand, the atmosphere is incredibly wild. It's the perfect place to capture unique late-afternoon light and feel the raw energy of the Pacific. Day 2: Wonder in Coiba (Boat & Snorkeling) The highlight of the trip. We boarded a lancha (motorboat) headed for Coiba National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former penal colony that has remained completely untouched. On the agenda: postcard-perfect white sand beaches and absolutely magical snorkeling sessions. We dove into the middle of a veritable natural aquarium: turtles, whitetip reef sharks, schools of multicolored fish...
