The journey begins on our remote island home in Northern Ontario, where the Land Rover Defender is packed and ready for a cross-continent overlanding adventure. Pete sets off west on an epic North American road trip, trading ferry crossings and forest roads for highways, prairies, and endless horizons. The route takes him through Sault Ste. Marie into Michigan, across Wisconsin, and onward into Minnesota, where he spends the night at a fellow overland YouTuber’s cabin. From there, the journey continues deeper into the American Midwest and Great Plains—crossing North Dakota and camping under vast open skies before the final push into Montana.
