In Part 2 of my 2026 Sturgis Odyssey, I ride north into the state of Illinois and lay low during a brutal mid-July heat wave. There, I discover a large quantity of wild mushrooms and try some fabulous Chicago deep dish pizza. The temperature soars as I press on into the state of Wisconsin, where I ride along the beautiful Mississippi River and camp out in one of the grossest places in recent memory.
