Jūrtaka Trail Latvia | Ragaciems to Engure Coastal Hike + amok draumr double test

Join us on a 2-day coastal hiking adventure in Latvia as we walk from Ragaciems to Engure along the Jūrtaka trail. We covered 29 km in total, with an overnight stay along the route, while trialling our Amok Double Draumr hammock to see whether it will be suitable for our longer hike coming up in a week’s time. This is a slightly different video to my usual content, but as you can see, the usual style of content will soon return — I’ll be bringing my camera on the long hike, so there will be plenty more hiking and outdoor videos to come. The journey included thunderstorms, heavy rain, and all the challenges that come with long-distance coastal walking. We’re now even more excited for our upcoming hiking week, during which we’ll be covering around 50% of the Latvian coast. The trail we are following is Jūrtaka, a long-distance trail that runs through all three Baltic countries — Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. It is also part of the much larger E9 long-distance route.
