Parkrun | Tamworth Castle Grounds, Tamworth, UK - July 2026

Join me for a speeded up point of view or is that first person view run at Tamworth Castle Grounds parkrun. This was their 126th event, and my 172nd. As it suggests, Tamworth Castle Grounds parkrun is in Tamworth Castle grounds. There are various carparks around the castle that you can use and Tamworth station is a busy station serving various intercity routes including the West Coast mainline and is close to Birmingham so transport is easy. It's two laps of the park on tarmac and concrete block paths and is relatively flat with just a short climb at one section and a few routes pushing the tarmac up in places so excellent for pb attempts, although, as you will see, it can be a little busy at the start.
