Penrhyn Parkrun (POV) - The Run - Event 476 - 11/07/2026 My first parkrun at this event, finishing in 158th place with a time of 31m41s. A 2 long lap and 2 short lap clockwise course on tarmac and gravel trail and woodland paths set in the grounds of Penrhyn Castle, Bangor, North Wales. The course is undulating throughout. Road shoes are fine for Summer, trail shoes may give a bit more grip in Winter. The parkrun gets cancelled if there are strong winds forecast. Always check the weather forecast before visiting. Note, parking is free for visitors. There are multiple cafes and toilets on site. The grounds and Castle are under ownership of the National Trust. If you wish to stay and visit the Castle and look around - go to the ticket office and/or see the National Trust's website for more details.
