Chuck E. Cheese's History of Rock & Roll, Part II (September 1986)
Showtape Title: CEC History of Rock and Roll Part 2 Release Date: September 2, 1986 This is the sequel to the previous History of Rock & Roll showtape. Now, the Pizza Time Players are preforming the greatest Rock & Roll songs from the next 10 years, 1965 to 1975. The format of this show is also completely different than what came previously. Instead of 12 short 2 to 5 minute segments with 8 minute intermissions in between each, this show is one long 15 minute segment with no breaks in between. The only other show like this is Movie Magic, and Beginning with TV Westerns, shows would be two segments long. This show also marks Scott Wilson's return as the voice of Chuck E. and Munch. In the previous show, he was replaced by Lonny Wilder, but PTT franchisees didn't like his voice for Chuck, and wrote letters to ShowBiz complaining. So they called Scott back, and he moved from California to Texas to continue voicing Chuck E. and Munch. He would continue to voice them until 1993. I don't exactly know what special shows were used on this tape, but I'm pretty sure it just reused the same skits from History of Rock Pt. 1. The special skits "Celebration" "Cheer - Hooray" and "Munch's Intro" would be continue to appear on Reels until the late '80s. "Celebration" would last appear on Sept '88, while the cheer and intro would continue to appear on reels until May '89. Chuck E. Cheese vocals - Scott Wilson Mr. Munch vocals - Scott Wilson Helen Henny vocals - Unknown Jasper T. Jowls vocals - Bob West Pasqually vocals - Bob West Show Segments 00:00 - History of Rock & Roll, Part II 14:56 - Beatles Birthday 16:41 - Celebration Birthday 18:38 - Old Style Rock Birthday 21:01 - School's Out 23:36 - Cheer - Hooray 24:19 - Munch's Intro (History of Rock) Audio Source: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nh1v3sotag...
