Chuck E. Cheese's Pizza Time Theatre - Demo voices & Crusty shows (1977 - 1978)
Showtape Title: N/A Release Date: 1977 - 1978 This is a collection of audio tracks from the first couple of CEC showtapes released between 1977 and 1978.They all feature Crusty the Cat, who never made it out of the first location. It should be noted that this is not the full May 1977 Show. While many of the tracks in this collection are known to originally come from that tape, the full reel is lost, so we can’t confirm or deny if all of these tracks are from it. The tracks known to be from May '77 include "Roots in the Country" "Pizza Time Theatre Song" all of the demo tracks, "Crusty's Impressions" "Flag Wavers Medley" and "Jukebox Skit". The song "Endlessly Awake, Part 1" is also known to be on that reel, although it is not included in this video, as at the time I uploaded it, I did not have the track. Some of these tracks are believed to also have been recycled onto future showtapes. From what I know, all of these segments (as well as the segments that feature Madame Oink, and the original artist recordings) came from an archival tape that was found at CEC’s corporate office sometime in the early 2010’s. This video has two sets of tracks, one set containing tracks where all of the characters are voiced by John Widelock (the demo tracks). The other set of tracks feature the main voice cast who would voice the characters for several years (Widelock as CEC, Scott Paluin as Jasper, Joe Spano as Pasqually and Ed Bogas as Crusty). Overall, a very rare set of shows that the fanbase is lucky to have. Chuck E. Cheese vocals - John Widelock Crusty The Cat vocals - John Widelock / Ed Bogas Jasper T.
