#knifemaking #knifeshop #slipjoint In this video I am going to continue the process of building a slip joint shadow trapper, a folding pocket knife commonly reffered to as a "sodbuster." This is the fifth in the series and we will mill relieve the handles, reinorce the pivot with nickle silver, cut the nail nick and set the basic spring tension. We will also explore not only the mechanics of building the knife but also the knife shop, tools techniques and some safety concerns. I am relatively new to the art of folding knives. I have made a couple in the past with varying degrees of success. I am now in a learning phase and taking you along for the ride. When this knife and series is complete I will be GIVING IT AWAY to ONE OF YOU and then we can start the next build.
