MAKING A SLIP JOINT TRAPPER PART 2 | Fitting the handles, fine tuning the stops, and spring tension
#knifemaking #knifeshop #slipjoint In this video I am going to continue the process of building a slip joint shadow trapper, a folding pocket knife commonly reffered to as a "sodbuster." This is the fourth in the series and we will explore not only the mechanics of building the knife but also the knife shop, tools techniques and some safety concerns. I am relatively new to the art of folding knives. I have made a couple in the past with varying degrees of success. I am now in a learning phase and taking you along for the ride. When this knife and series is complete I will be giving it away to one of you and then we can start the next build. I hope you follow along and enjoy the build, I hope you learn with and have fun being a part of the experience. After all this is supposed to be fun. Hit the subscribe and notifications icon and come back every Sunday for the 1830 PST live feed. I might just be giving away something else cool and you have to be there to win it. By all means support this channel by sharing the hell out of it, and checking out the links that I put down below. --Norseman RULES FOR ENTRY IN THE RAFFLE. 1) Watch each video in the series and comment "TICKET" (one entry per person per video) 2) Share the video on FACEBOOK, tag "Survival Hardware" on Facebook and recieve another ticket for the raffle (one entry per page per video) Of course I would love it if you LIKE the videos, SUBSCRIBE to the channel and click the NOTIFIATIONS BELL, but I wont make that a rule, I would just appreciate it very much. THATS IT! I will give the knife away after the series has run its course, I will pull one ticket on the Sunday 1830 live show following the last video. Must be 18 years old to win and Identification will be required before I can ship the knife to you.
