MAKING A SLIP JOINT TRAPPER PART 5 | IT IS DONE Final assembly and building a leather pocket sheath
#knifemaking #knifeshop #slipjoint In this video I am going to finish the process of building a slip joint shadow trapper, a folding pocket knife commonly reffered to as a "sodbuster." This is the seventh in the series and we will finish the knife assembly and cleanup, as well as build a pocket / belt sheath for it. We will also explore not only the mechanics of building the knife and sheath but also the knife shop, tools techniques and some safety concerns. I am relatively new to the art of folding knives. I have made a couple in the past with varying degrees of success. I am now in a learning phase and taking you along for the ride. When this knife and series is complete I will be GIVING IT AWAY to ONE OF YOU and then we can start the next build. I hope you follow along and enjoy the build, I hope you learn with and have fun being a part of the experience. After all this is supposed to be fun.
