Back to Where It All Began 🇫🇷🇪🇸🇵🇹 - but the heat nearly broke us 🥵

After 121 Days and 4,700 Miles road tripping in our camper van through France, Spain and Portugal, we are officially back where it all began in Eaucourt-sur-Somme - one of our favourite park ups near Calais 🚐💨 This is the grand finale of our epic 4-month European campervan road trip. We started all the way back on the 1st of March at Eaucourt-sur-Somme, looped through France, Spain, and Portugal, and in this final episode, we have 6 days left to get ourselves to Calais for the ferry back to the UK. But we didn't want this to just be about driving home—we wanted one last adventure! From dodging a 41°C heatwave by fleeing to a breezy beach town, to accidentally landing in Clisson during one of France's biggest music festivals, this final week packed in way more action than we bargained for. We also take a minor detour to a beautiful, unexpected shaded stop, survive a 2:00 AM "World War II" seagull battle right on top of our van roof, and share our ultimate favorite moments—including the best hike of the entire trip. Finally, we head to Calais (where the parking app completely lied to us!) and show you exactly what it's like navigating ferry customs on the French side.
