9/24-25/22 Rail Safety Train departs Fullerton & display captures of ATSF 3751 & AMTK 203 ft. tours With the Amtrak Rail Safety event behind us, here are some major highlight captures we got of the Rail Safety display train out in Fullerton, CA. Rail Safety display train departs Fullerton 9/25/22: (00:00-7:19) While this should've been the last part of the video, we first showcase the preparation of Amtrak train 985(hehe, this would be the second time for us to capture an Amtrak train registered as such) returning to Los Angeles from Fullerton. (1:11) for the reverse move, (3:30) for a chance to see 203 & 3751 side by side for a photo shoot & to switch leaders, and (5:02 & 5:43) for mainline arrival & departure. ATSF/Santa Fe 3751 on display at Fullerton on 9/24/22: (7:20-14:19) With Santa Fe 4-8-4 Northern 3751 being the main display for this event, we manage to capture quite a lot of footage of the locomotive both days featuring bell use, train meets including a Warbonnet paint meet, some whistle use, and even a cab tour which starts at 9:26. ATSF/Santa Fe 3751 on display at Fullerton on 9/25/22: (14:20-16:58) And it was enough footage to showcase more for the next day on the 25th. Like the previous day, we show more train meets as well as bell and whistle use. Throughout both days, AMTK 203 can be spotted in the background but... Amtrak Operation Lifesaver 203 on display at Fullerton: (16:59-19:18) ...we do have a chapter that showcases specifically Amtrak Yellow face Operation Lifesaver unit 203, the main attraction for this event to remind everyone about rail safety. For one day only 9/24/22 and for free(except for waiting in line...it does take time), the public was given a chance to take a quick tour of the cab as we show at 17:45. Bonus clips: Amtrak Pacific Surfliner cab car 6900 cab peek from 9/24/22. (19:19-20:23) Santa Fe SD45-2 Bicentinnal Bonnet unit ATSF 5704 was spotted in Commerce while on a stopped M660 to FUL on 9/25/22. Not at the event but was on the way, hehe.
