Did Drivers Save The Radeon 8500?
In this video we take a look at the Radeon 8500, ATI's flagship from 2001 that was well known for being an underwhelming graphics card. Over time however driver development saw this card slowly but surely improving. In the end, was it enough to make this card a beast? Let's find out. I was going to launch this video on Patreon a day before the YouTube release, but the only Patron that this is applicable to at the moment (Ferroset) requested that the video be uploaded straight to YouTube instead. Thank him for the early upload!
