I Made a 1997 Psion Control My Flipper Zero
I found a Psion Series 5 from 1997 in a thrift shop. It's a clamshell, full keyboard, EPOC OS, 16 MHz ARM, two AA batteries, an RS-232 port and not much else. Sitting next to it: my Flipper Zero. In this short build, I pair the two using a Raspberry Pi + FTDI adapter as a serial bridge, so the Psion's built-in Comms terminal becomes a usable CLI for the Flipper. Does it make sense? No. Is it fun? Absolutely. š Resources & Links Psion Series 5 / EPOC OS: š Psion Series 5: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Psion_S... š EPOC OS: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EPOC_(o...) š The Last Psion: https://www.thelastpsion.com Flipper Zero CLI: š CLI documentation: https://docs.flipper.net/development/cli š» Firmware repo: https://github.com/flipperdevices/fli...
