Travels by Narrowboat - "Point Break" - S08E15

Great Haywood and it's junction with the Staffordshire & Worcestershire Canal, is literally just a couple of miles and two locks away. Passing through the tiny village of Weston On Trent, I confidently declare it the most picturesque section of canal I've ever travelled along. Along the way, I marvel at what must be a joyous privelege, that of owning your own canalside field and private mooring - and speculate what might be involved in purchasing your own 'piece of paradise'. Eventually, we arrive at Great Haywood and after disposing of some rubbish and filling the water tank, I moor up a little further down the canal.
