Gooday everyone. Join Aslan and I as we continue our journey down the Bridgewater canal, arriving at Preston Brook Tunnel. For me, tunnels have always been something to approach with a little trepidation - luckily I had the foresight to fit Aslan with a new, brighter, LED tunnel-light bulb, which should ensure the journey goes without a hitch . . . Later and having emerged from the southern end of Preston Brook Tunnel, I arrive onto the Trent & Mersey Canal and one of the shallowest locks on the canal network - no problem for an experienced, seasoned canal veteran, such as myself . . .
