Purists WON’T Like This… Diamond T Tank Transporter Restoration Update
After years of hard work, our wartime Diamond T Tank Transporter restoration is finally nearing completion. Originally a client’s project, I’ve now taken ownership — and with that comes a new direction for this historic heavy haulage giant. The Diamond T was one of the most iconic tank transporters of WWII, hauling armour across Europe and beyond. But while the purists might prefer it kept exactly as it left the factory, I’ve got some bold plans that will divide opinion. In this video, I take you through the restoration progress so far, the story behind how I came to buy it, and what I’ve got in store next. 👉 Let me know in the comments — do you think history should be preserved exactly, or is there room to adapt and evolve these old machines?
