Britain retired the Centurion in 1964 — decades before Israel used it to stop 1,260 Syrian tanks in the Golan Heights, before South Africa rebuilt it into a Soviet-killer in Angola, and before the tactical doctrine it proved became the blueprint every army in Ukraine is fighting from today.
