È l’amore che crea una famiglia | Francesca Pardi Maria Silvia Fiengo | TEDxVarese
In this sensitive and personal talk, Francesca Pardi and Maria Silvia Fiengo recount their stories of building a family, which is also the story of activism and a series of battles for the recognition and defense of rights. These rights, while at first glance they seem to be addressed to minorities, actually belong to every type of family, without any possible distinction. In this sensitive and personal talk, Francesca Pardi and Maria Silvia Fiengo recount their stories of building a family, which is also the story of activism and a series of battles for the recognition and defense of rights. At first glance, these rights seem to be for minorities, but in fact, they are for every type of family, without any possible distinction. Maria Silvia Fiengo and Francesca Pardi, a couple for 24 years, were only able to marry in 2013 in Barcelona. Together they had four children, born between 2002 and 2009. Activists and founders, along with other gay parents, of the "Famiglie Arcobaleno" association, they founded "Lo Stampatello" in 2011, a children's publishing house focusing on homoparenting. Among its many titles, "Piccolo Uovo" stands out, illustrated by Altan and written by Francesca Pardi herself. Both, in addition to being authors of children's books, have separate professional lives: Francesca Pardi runs a set design company for fashion and entertainment, while Maria Silvia Fiengo, with a background at Mikado Film, works in event planning, communications, and training. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
