With her talk, Chiara will help us understand how rational each of us is as a consumer and how a purchase can affect our mood. When does sales psychology end and mood-enhancing psychology begin? Born and raised in Ferrara, Chiara moved to Milan at 22, where she studied and became a marketing psychologist. She helps companies discover who their customers are, as people, not just consumers. She studies the mechanisms that drive behavior and purchasing decisions, and uses technology to implement brand communication strategies on digital media. She is an adjunct professor of Consumer Behavior at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, where she collaborates on research and teaching for undergraduate and graduate programs.
