FORSZMAK – regionalne danie jednogarnkowe

Looking for a one-pot, meaty dinner idea? It's not bogracz, it's not stroganoff, but something equally delicious! Today on the Mniamer channel, we're making Forszmak Lubelski. It's a thick, aromatic soup with meat, bacon, and pickled cucumbers that warms you up and keeps you full for a long time. If you love traditional Polish flavors and are looking for an alternative to the classics, this recipe is for you. Easy to make, and it tastes amazing! In this video, you'll see: How to make the perfect base for forszmak. What to add to make forszmak thick and filling. The secret to balancing flavors (meat vs. cucumber). Ingredients: 300 grams of smoked or baked bacon, 700 grams of pork shoulder or neck, 300 grams of chicken thighs (or breasts), 4 Silesian sausages or similar, 2 large onions, 500 grams of mushrooms, 3 sweet peppers, 4 pickled cucumbers, 700 ml of passata, allspice, bay leaves, salt, pepper. 👉Important note: I also added the same amount of water along with the passata – I missed it in the video.
