Juicy pork shoulder braised with onions, garlic, and peppers until it's buttery soft. Added to this is the spicier note of good ketchup, which always evokes highlander cuisine. The plate is topped with a thick, rich sauce that begs for fresh bread, and the diced pickled cucumbers add acidity and character to the entire dish. Simple, homey, and to the point.
