I've received a lot of feedback on my personal smartphone, and I truly feel that the spirit of the emerald green train remains in your hearts even after 20 years. At that time, I was 23 years old. I was a university student, and despite various anxieties and worries, I spent my days taking photos by the railway tracks and enjoying cycling in the mountains along the line, taking my bicycle on the Chubu Electric Railway. The 20 years since then seem to have passed in the blink of an eye. It's understandable, because the weight of life from age 20 to 40 is half the weight of life before age 20. Even so, life presents many difficulties. And I think there were many times when I had to persevere and push myself. At those times, the support that truly touched my heart was undoubtedly the sight of the emerald green 103 series train speeding along. They won't give up. No matter how crowded it is, they fulfill their mission of transportation. Their top speed may be low, but they can outrun express trains. They are commuter trains, but they run proudly on the express lines as rapid trains. They will surely continue to support us for the next 20 years as well.
