Today, we are doing the return freight service from the northern industrial zone of Amiens together. So many of you asked for this return trip after watching the inbound video, so here it is! You will see the departure from the private siding, the locomotive run-around in the "Demie-lune" yard, the return via the industrial stem track to St-Roch station, and finally the arrival at Amiens station. Note: The weather was particularly gloomy this afternoon, which slightly affects the usual image quality, but I wanted to share this run with you anyway. Sit back comfortably in the cab and enjoy the video! 🚨 URGENT: SAVE THE BB 12120 FROM THE SCRAP YARD! 🚨 As announced at the end of the video, I am using this space to give a helping hand to the AAPSL (Amicale des Agents de Paris Saint-Lazare). This association of railway workers and enthusiasts does wonderful work to keep railway heritage alive (especially with their magnificent BB 17016). They are currently leading a last-chance rescue: that of the BB 12120. This historic electric locomotive must imperatively leave the Belgian museum where it is currently stored before the end of the summer, otherwise it will be sent to the scrap yard. The machine is complete and in superb condition; it deserves to return to France to resume service on historic trains. The great news is that the fundraiser has already reached 80% of its €30,000 goal!
