4 tonnes de champignons… dans un parking

Today, I'm taking you to Isère, to Champiloop, to meet Hamid and Maxime. They don't come from an agricultural background, yet they now produce several tons of organic mushrooms every month in former urban spaces transformed into mushroom farms. With Champiloop, they wanted to grow something other than oyster and shiitake mushrooms: jobs, community connections, local food, and a new way of envisioning urban agriculture. In this episode, we talk about career change, social entrepreneurship, urban agriculture, sustainable food, fair compensation, finding meaning in work… and, of course, mushrooms. Enjoy the episode!
