A Cozy Night in Tokyo: After Work Walk & Homemade Yakisoba

Hello, I’m Sakura 🇯🇵 After a busy week, I wanted to share a glimpse of my real life in Tokyo—finding peace in the city and enjoying a cozy weekend in nature. 🌿 The first half of this video is my routine after a long workday. Walking through the illuminated Tokyo Station always helps me clear my mind. Once I get home, I make a simple and comforting Yakisoba. It’s quick, cheap, and the ultimate Japanese soul food for a tired night. 🥢 On a different day, I escaped the city noise for some Solo Fishing. There’s something so therapeutic about sitting by the water and waiting for a catch. It’s my favorite way to recharge without spending much money. 🎣 ────────────────── 🌸 Today’s Highlights: • Night walk at Tokyo Station after work 🌃 • Cooking cozy homemade Yakisoba 🥢 • Solo fishing trip to unwind in nature 🎣 • My tips for a slow and simple life in Japan 🇯🇵 ────────────────── 🥢 Tonight’s Cozy Recipe: Simple Yakisoba (Budget-friendly & Quick) Ingredients (1 serving): • 1 bag Yakisoba noodles • 50g Pork belly or chicken • 1/4 Cabbage (roughly chopped) • Yakisoba sauce (or a mix of Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce) • Aonori (seaweed powder) & Beni Shoga (red ginger) for topping Steps: 1. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the meat until cooked. 2. Add the cabbage and stir-fry until slightly softened. 3. Add the noodles and a splash of water to loosen them up. 4. Pour the sauce over everything and mix well on high heat. 5. Serve on a plate and top with Aonori and Beni Shoga.
