Hi everyone, it’s asuka 👋 This is my solo izakaya night in Tokyo after work. I finished work around 9pm after overtime, and I suddenly felt completely exhausted. I had no energy to cook at home, but I still wanted to eat something really good. So tonight, I went to an izakaya alone. I had beer, grilled skewers, ramen, and spent a quiet night by myself. After coming home, I did a few chores, spent time with my cats, and slowly enjoyed my alone time at home. Some days, we spend the whole day pretending we are okay.
