091423 40 TON CONCRETE TRUCK COLLAPSES 4 TON BRIDGE AND VIDEO OF FULL RECOVERY

On September 14, 2023, a Nelson Concrete truck loaded with 10 yards of concrete drove over a bridge clearly marked with a 4-ton load limit sign. The bridge collapsed. The driver was not injured but the residents of Walnut Cove in Willis, Texas now have to drive over a mile to get to the other side of the bridge. Miller Wrecker Service and Gabby's Crane Service spent 3 hours recovering the truck from the creek bed which flows into Lake Conroe. That was after many hours of setting mats to support the 90-ton crane and the heavy-duty wrecker. This video shows the incident and the complete uncut recovery of the truck.
