Salvage manager Matthias from the Widliczek company and crane contractor Rene Sälzer had the task of recovering this Semitrailer from a difficult situation. At around 11:00 a.m., the driver of a cooling truck on the A44 freeway heading west from the direction of Kassel intended to turn onto the A1 northbound towards Bremen at the Dortmund / Unna freeway intersection. In the exit, the so-called tangent, his truck skidded for unknown reasons on a rain-soaked road and left the road to the right. There the truck slid crosswise down a slope and came to a halt in bushes and trees. A crane was used to lift the tractor unit and a tow truck used a winch to pull the crashed truck back onto the road. According to the police, the driver was uninjured.
