This time, we're featuring "Guru's Cut & Stand." Located a one-minute walk from Yutenji Station. Turn left into the shopping street in front of the station, and you'll see the green exterior wall near the elevated tracks and the art box installed on the eaves. Owner Kubo, who gained experience at a well-known hair salon, opened the salon in 2009, wanting to create a salon that his friends could casually visit. The entrance, inspired by a barbershop he saw on a trip to New York, is lined with skate gear and products from various brands founded by Kubo's friends. The open-feeling haircut space, featuring a single mirror, was designed to allow customers to exchange tips and insights. The salon space also extends to the second floor, accessible via a staircase at the rear of the store, surrounded by skate decks. The salon is equipped with a VCR capable of playing rare VHS tapes, and customers often get excited watching the skate videos on display. In addition to receiving a haircut with expert skill, customers can also purchase accessories and apparel.
