This time, we're introducing "UNDER THE SUN." A seven-minute walk from the east exit of Ikejiri-Ohashi Station. Head straight down the old Oyama Kaido toward Sangenjaya and you'll see a large wooden door and window frame on your left. After working as a stylist at WAVY'S, a hair salon that sadly closed in 2019, Nakagawa went independent. He opened a vintage clothing store and hair salon in Sangenjaya that also carries his long-time love of vintage clothing. Nakagawa, a hairstylist and skater, gained popularity for his unique selection of American vintage clothing and his reliable haircutting skills. Started by Nakagawa alone, the shop has gradually grown in staff, both hairdressers and second-hand clothing store staff. The shop moved to Ikejiri-Ohashi in March 2022, and is now even more powerful than its Sangenjaya location, both as a hair salon and a second-hand clothing store. Warm light pours in through the large window frames, and the interior is filled with attention to detail, even down to the smallest materials, creating a pleasant space. At the salon, three stylists suggest styles that suit each customer, based on a natural, understated hairstyle. Get a haircut and shop for second-hand clothing.
