Introducing the Partee Racing BMW S62 Bank 1 Tensioner Guide Upgrade! In stock NOW!
Partee Racing's engineering team discusses their latest product, the BMW S62 Bank 1 Tensioner Guide Upgrade! 20 IN STOCK NOW! (500 more in a month!) Grab an upgraded Stanyl 46 BMW S62 Bank 1 Tensioning Guide Rail while supplies last. The OEM part is NO LONGER AVAILABLE from BMW, but it is available from US! Only available at www.ParteeRacing.com! If you’ve owned or rebuilt a BMW M5 or Z8 powered by the legendary S62 V8, you already know the heartbreak of degraded chain guides. While most focus on the infamous U-shaped guide, the Bank 1 tensioner rail is another weak point—originally equipped with a PA66 plastic strip that becomes brittle, wears prematurely, and ultimately risks timing integrity. At Partee Racing, we didn’t just recreate the original — we engineered something far better. Our Bank 1 Tensioner Guide uses Stanyl 46 TW341, a high-performance, high-heat polymer with 200°C more thermal resistance than OEM materials. It’s the same class of polymer used by modern OEMs for high-load, high-temp timing applications. This strip doesn’t degrade, crack, or soften over time—period. Precision-drilled oiling holes ensure perfect lubrication at the exact angle and position BMW originally intended. Fitment is seamless—it installs onto your original BMW cast aluminum backing using a carefully revised attachment method that maintains cost-effectiveness and reliability. No fragile clips. No glue. No gimmicks. Just a press-fit, tension-secured design that stays locked in place under load. You have two options: Strip Only: $395 – Ideal if you want to install onto your existing tensioner backing. Pre-Assembled Unit: $595 – Comes installed on a good-condition OEM tensioner backing for plug-and-play simplicity. ➤ Send back your core for a $145 refund, bringing your total down to $450. This product includes Partee Racing’s lifetime warranty. If it fails, we replace it—no questions asked. We’ve installed this in real S62 builds and torn them down after 2,000+ miles of high-load testing. Results? Zero wear. Total confidence. Want the full upgrade? Pair this with our U-Shaped Guide and build your S62 timing system around components that will outlast the rest of the engine. Also available as part of our full S62 Timing Chain Renewal Kit, which includes both upgraded guides and 11 OEM gaskets, seals, and timing components—available now at parteeracing.com. #e39m5 #e39m5exhaust #e39m5sound #e39m5straightpipes #e39m5supercharger #e39m5pov #e39m5commercial #e39m5drift #e39m5mufflerdelete #e39m5review #e39m5restoration #e39m5build #e39m5acceleration #e39m5dinanexhaust #e39m5turbo #e39m5vse46m3
