Warcraft 3 Alternate by Guillstep An alternate timeline where Arthas Menethil did not wield the cursed sword Frostmourne and was not corrupted. Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore and his Kul Tiran troops landed on one of Kalimdor's shores in Durotar. One of the Admiral's warriors informed him of orc bases sighted near their position. Daelin was confused, swearing that the first time they arrived on the continent they had exterminated all the orcs roaming the area. Daelin prepared his workers to establish a base with all the necessary resources and military force to attack the orcs mercilessly, motivating them with the conviction that the war against the Horde was about to begin. Once the orcs were killed and their bases destroyed, the Admiral called them weak and said he now understood why he had easily defeated them in the Second War; they never stood a chance against him. One of his captains reported on troll tribes on Echo Isle and said he was just waiting for the order to attack. Daelin ordered that the entire troll homeland be reduced to ashes. Daelin divided his forces to keep watch on the orcs while he tried to find his daughter, Jaina Proudmoore, to gain Theramore's support in destroying the Horde. Meanwhile, in Orgrimmar, Rexxar, Rokhan, and Chen Stormstout successfully completed several objectives for the Horde, delivering valuable information to Horde leader Thrall. Thrall congratulated his champions for doing everything possible to maintain the security of Durotar, and while the human fleets bearing the anchor seal seemed familiar, he couldn't recall their origin. Rokhan was worried about the safety of his people, because if these humans came from the sea, their troll brethren on the Echo Isles would be in grave danger. Thrall promised Rokhan that he would not allow anything to happen to his people and that they could live near Orgrimmar. Thrall gave Rexxar a great mission: to warn the trolls about the human fleets and tell Vol'jin everything that was happening. He was to try to convince the trolls to join the Horde. Along the shores of the Plains are numerous archipelagos that the jungle trolls have claimed as their own. The Darkspear trolls maintain lookout posts to guard against any dangers from the seas.
