Buck Creek - Iowa Driftless Trout Fishing (Flyfishing the MOST SCENIC Trout Stream in Iowa)

Come along as I fish what I believe to be the most scenic of all of the Iowa Driftless region trout streams, Buck Creek. The summer foliage and tall weeds don't allow the true beauty of this stream to shine like it would in the late fall to spring. I will definitely have to return to film again when the conditions improve to showcase the truly spectacular Buck Creek. This stream is stocked with catchable size rainbow trout and apparently has some wild reproducing brown trout in it as well. Last winter I caught a 4 inch rainbow in this stream that is a bit of a mystery since I don't believe they ever stock them in here as fingerlings. If you're looking for a nice walk along a partially grazed meadow with a beautiful stream flowing through and a chance to catch a trout while you're at it, this may just be the place for you.
