Why would anyone come here? A perfect weekend of fly fishing | Lost in the Driftless

This was about as close to perfect as a weekend can get. I have yet to see or find better trout fishing East of the Rocky Mountains. Southern Tailwaters, Great Lakes Tributaries, and even The Smoky Mountains all pale in comparison. In the United States, the Driftless Region is so far and above any other major trout fishing "destination". This kind of day is quite common and gives you the opportunity of both quantity and quality. Endless dry fly rises at every bend and the chance for nymphing up monsters from the undercuts. Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota have untold numbers of streams JUST LIKE THIS ONE. Oh and did I mention? We were the ONLY anglers on the river. The Driftless is an absolute treat.
