Texas Paddling Trail Review (Ep 1)(Angelina River)(Bee Tree Slough)(Catch and Cook)
I launched at Bevelport on the Angelina River. It was an unusually warm day in February. I trolled downstream, stopping and checking out Corp of Engineers campsites. I paddled up into Bee tree Slough for a shore lunch. The return paddle was just as enjoyable. Checking river conditions is a must for this paddle. See the Corp of Engineers website for conditions.
