Texas Paddling Trail Review (Ep 2)(Apr 20, 2026)

I attempt to share my local knowledge about this area. I’m hoping this video will be useful to folks that are interested in paddling this Texas Parks and Wildlife Paddling Trail on Toledo Bend Reservoir in the Pineywoods region of Texas. You can’t get much more east in Texas, as the stateliness with Louisiana falls within the lake. I paddled about 10 miles, including side trips, and was out about 7 hours. When I decided to turn around and head back to Holly Park Marina, I didn’t want to. I wanted to keep exploring. Without stopping on the way back, it took me 1 1/2 hours to get back.
