Dirty Laundry

The plaintiff says she dropped off a large bag of bath mats from her two bathrooms at the defendant’s laundromat, but the items were lost. She claims employees repeatedly told her to return when a manager was available to complete paperwork, but each time she did, the manager was unavailable. She says this continued for months, prompting her to sue for the value of the missing items. The defendant says there was a mix-up and another customer mistakenly took the plaintiff’s laundry.
