Day 7: Planning Electrical Outlets, Lights & Cable Wiring

Day 7 of the 411 Kitchen Design Mobile Showroom build was mostly about planning the electrical layout and preparing for the wiring work. In this video, I’m inside the van going over the next important step of the build: planning where the electrical outlets, lights, switches, and cable wires are going to run. Before installing anything, I wanted to make sure everything was sketched out, organized, and planned properly. I worked on a diagram and layout to decide where the outlets will go, where the lighting will be placed, and how the wires will run throughout the mobile showroom. I also started buying and separating the materials so everything is ready before the installation begins. This step may not look like a big transformation yet, but it is one of the most important parts of the build. A good plan now will help make the mobile showroom cleaner, safer, and more professional once the cabinets, samples, displays, lighting, and design areas are installed. The 411 Kitchen Design Mobile Showroom is being built step by step to create a unique kitchen design experience for South Florida. Homeowners, contractors, and designers will be able to see cabinet styles, shaker doors, European cabinets, modern cabinets, hardware, quartz samples, and design ideas directly from the van.
