Elusive Wild Horses of Alberta | Pegasus and Poseidon | They saw something ...

An elusive band of wild horses suddenly becomes alert—every head turning toward something unseen. Moments later, the stallion sounds the warning… and the entire band runs. This band, led and co-managed by the roan stallions Pegasus and Poseidon, is rarely seen. They are wary, quick to move, and often disappear before they can be observed for long. One by one, the horses lifted their heads and fixed their attention on a distant point off in the distance—something I couldn’t see or hear. The entire band stood still, listening. Then came the signal. A stallion snorted and huffed, and the tension broke. The band circled briefly before committing, then moved together, accelerating down the hillside as their hooves echoed through the trees. Encounters like this are rare—not because the horses aren’t there, but because they rarely allow themselves to be seen. Filmed respectfully from a distance, with no interference. 📍 Alberta, Canada – Eastern Slopes of the Rocky Moutains 🎥 Wild horses of Canada If you’d like to support more time filming in the field: Paypal 👉 https://paypal.me/WildhorseWildflower Buy Me a Coffee 👉 https://buymeacoffee.com/wildhorsewj #wildhorses #albertawildhorses #wildlife #horsebehavior #canadianwildlife #nature #wildhorsesofcanada
