Eclipse and Borealis | Alberta Wild Horses | New Foal

This video follows Alberta Wild Horse Eclipse, a new mother, and her newborn foal Borealis during a quiet spring moment in Alberta’s foothills. Eclipse remains close and attentive as Borealis navigates the terrain, including a steep incline where Eclipse pauses and stands guard while her foal finds footing. Also present is the elusive stallion Poseidon and his band, a group that is rarely seen and does not linger long in open areas. This marks the second time I’ve been fortunate enough to document this band. The same foal seen emerging from the willows in a previous video is Eclipse new foal named Borealis. — a quiet continuity across seasons and sightings. 📍 Filmed in: Alberta, Canada — foothills / Rocky Mountain region 📸 Why I Film I film independently, on my own time, guided by patience and deep respect for wildlife.
