BIGGEST Tomato Harvest of 2025! – 3,100 lbs Packed Right in the Field!

Today we bring you our BIGGEST tomato harvest of 2025 – an unbelievable 3,100 pounds of field tomatoes picked, packed, and hauled straight out of the field in just one morning! 🌱🍅 With a small crew of only five, we worked from 7:30 am until after noon in the heat and humidity, stripping plants and boxing right on the plastic mulch for maximum efficiency. Instead of our usual system of harvesting into tubs and packing later in the barn, we tried a new method: picking and packing tomatoes directly in the field. It was back-breaking, but it saved us an entire step and let us load 312 boxes of tomatoes onto the wagon in record time. This was truly our largest tomato harvest of the year and one of the best crops we’ve had in recent seasons.
