We Dropped Our Rudder in Australia...And Found This

Our first Boatyard Blues episode is now live. After four years of sailing Te Tāiko in the South Pacific, it was time to finally drop the rudder. We knew there was always a possibility we’d find corrosion once everything came apart… What we thought would be a reasonably straightforward boat job quickly turned into something much bigger. This lifestyle gives us some incredible experiences, but there’s also a lot of maintenance, uncertainty, and problem solving that comes with living aboard and sailing long distances. Join us as we begin working through the next chapter of Te Tāiko’s journey in Australia. Link to video: Thanks for watching!
