The day begins with a steep climb straight from the hut, followed by our first real encounter with deep mud. Progress slows quickly, and what started as a physical challenge becomes something more. As we walk deeper into the forest, we begin to notice something we weren't expecting. This video shares our honest experience of Day 2 on Rakiura Track — the mud, the silence, and what it revealed us along the way.
