This One Isn’t Worth Saving

This corner of Chene and Medbury in Detroit was home to a bank for decades, even if the structure that housed it was dramatically changed in 1970 as Poletown East deteriorated. From humble beginnings in the 1920s to its closure in the latter part of the 20th century, this corner saw bank robberies, streetscape changes, and depopulation.
