Lesson 9: Gelli Plate Print Landscape Collage.

This week, we are going to introduce an exciting new element to our mixed-media toolkit: gelli plate printing. We will utilise this technique with visual textures, which will eventually serve as prime material for our ongoing landscape and wildlife collage work; therefore, please ensure you have your gelli plates and rollers prepped and ready. Please note that if you currently have other unfinished paintings or collage projects from previous weeks that you are anxious to progress, you are completely welcome to focus on those instead; the ultimate objective is to cultivate your individual creative flow in a way that best serves your current piece. It is going to be a wonderful, playful evening of material experimentation, and I am looking forward to seeing what textures you all produce.
